An Exploration of Impostor Syndrome in STEM and STEM Self-Efficacy in Adolescent Learners from a Teacher’s Perspective

Over the years, there has been a surge in demand for proficient STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) workforce to occupy proliferating job vacancies worldwide. The must be expanded order fill this gap. However, reputation of learning as being arduous proven deterrent students’ interest pursuit careers. In an expounding qualitative study, three teachers were interviewed purpose examining Impostor Syndrome (IS) Self-Efficacy (S-SE) from teacher’s perspective. Findings suggest that are sentient manifestation IS among students. Teachers noted poses significant challenge their interactions with students classroom, also suggested is inversely proportional S-SE.
